Swallow Hill's Julie Davis School of Music in Denver is
Colorado's top destination for aspiring and professional
musicians of all ages and skill levels. We offer workshops,
group classes and private lessons in pop, rock, blues, jazz,
bluegrass, indie, roots, folk and world music. Our philosophy is
that music can be played and learned by everyone in our
friendly, casual environment. Founded in 1979 as a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit arts organization, Swallow Hill now reaches more than
8,000 adults, teens, kids and pre-school students a year.

Our professional faculty and staff help students achieve their
goals using acoustic and electric guitar, fiddle (violin),
mandolin, piano, voice, harmonica, bass, banjo, ukulele,
percussion, dobro and more. We also offer
classes,

musicianship. Check out our
ensemble program if your goal is to
play in a band and perform around Denver.
Swallow Hill offers group classes seven
days a week. Sessions run every eight weeks. Private lessons are
taught year round. Swallow Hill’s classes are affordable and fun
for the whole family. Join the community, learn to play music
and meet new friends!
Classes fill up quickly or can be
canceled from low registration, so by registering early, you can
ensure you get in to your class and it runs. Check out our
Core Guitar Program for adults, the
