DENVER— Due to circumstances beyond the control of Denver Botanic Gardens and Swallow Hill Music, Los Van Van has cancelled their U.S. tour including their performance at Denver Botanic Gardens on June 9, 2010. Bill Martinez, a spokesperson of Los Van Van, released this official statement earlier today:

"The coordinators of the tour of Los Van Van regret to announce that, due to an unresolved business matter between the group and a third party and circumstances beyond their control, the U.S. tour of Los Van Van must be postponed. This decision had nothing to do with U.S.-Cuba relations or any visa issues. Their I-129 visa petitions were approved. We hope to bring Los Van Van to the United States soon after resolution of the factors that prevented us from realizing this tour at this time."

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will receive a refund within 2-3 business days. For tickets purchased in person, please contact the box office at 888-440-9568. We apologize for any inconvenience.
